Apr 24th
25th 26th & 27th its Todd Johnson!!
Todd is from that large group of touring comedians that call Idaho home. This guy grows on ya as he spins his tales of home life turned sideways. To most people, growing up in Idaho isn't a life changing experience (well duh). But that is where Todd Johnson's comedy got its start (We thought it was at Krispy Kreme7). At a very young age, Todd learned to laugh at himself (everyone did), as well as those around him. During the early years of school, Todd was very quiet and chose to practice his comedy on cows, sheep, and other barnyard animals After graduating and realizing that life existed outside of Idaho and it's animals (it took him 18 years to figure that out), Todd learned that people laughed at his jokes . . . . and a comedian was born. Growing up in Idaho familiarized Todd with a variety of things. His observations of life's experiences are funny, not in the way you would expect them to be, especially coming from a simple-minded boy from Idaho. His clean humor and the way he puts a mental image in your mind make you see a different side of life. Todd now lives in Denver and is doing stand up on the road much of the year.

May 1st
2nd 3rd & 4th its John Moyer!!
John is best know as the screenwriter and the inspiration for the cult hit movie The Singles Ward. But his ability to make people laugh doesn't stop there. Seen on HBO and the winner of The Anhueser Busch Comedy Competition, John draws upon personal experiences and explains his own take - which he calls "comedy theorems" - on what makes the world tick and how to improve it!

May 8th its Jeff Burghart!!
Jeff Burghart possesses the rare capacity to captivate a crowd in seconds and keep them with his signature blends of characters, impressions and sarcastic wit. Jeff attended the University of Houston, where he won "The Funniest Person in Houston" contest and the rest is history. His TV appearances include Comedy Central, the BET Network, and the MDA Telethon where Jerry Lewis proclaimed him "...one of the craziest people I've ever seen in my whole life!" Audiences applaud as he lampoons life's acceptable lunacy with an energetic style and an acerbic twist that is distinctively his own.

May 9th
& 10th welcome Ryan Hamilton!!
Ryan brings keen observations, unique tangents and a distinguished smirk together in an animated style that will put a smile on your face and laughter in your belly. His clean brand of humor is insightfully goofy--profound would be stretching it, but don't tell Ryan. We like to let him think he's cooler than he really is. He's much funnier that way. Ryan grew up in Idaho and started performing comedy right here in Utah! In 2003 Ryan appeared at the Comedy Central Laugh Riots, Las Vegas Comedy Festival and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. You have heard him on the Bob and Tom Show, and recently he brought down the house on Last Comic Standing. Ryan is here in Utah again and feeling pretty good about it.

16th 17th & 18th its Karen Rontowski!!
When it comes to funny, Karen is truly America's sweetheart of comedy. She has been tapped as being the next female star in the comedy world. Karen's distinctive brand of humor has been making audiences laugh all across the country. She brings to light life's everyday problems, such as visits to the Laundromat or the trouble with having an alligator in you apartment. Karen's quick wit lures playful audience participation and puts a new spin on the typical view of life. Her mix of sarcasm and silliness makes her act appealing to a wide variety of audiences. Rontowski has played in clubs from California to Minnesota with various stops between. She was the opening act one year on "Bob Hope's Young Comedians Special" and has been seen on Comedy Central, HBO, and other cable networks and specials. Whether she's talking about her parents arguing or about her attempt at being an ambassador to Japan, Karen is truly one to watch in the future.

May 22nd
23rd 24th & 25th welcome Bengt Washburn!!
Bengt (pronounce it "bent") Washburn was born into a large Mormon family and raised in a small town-in Utah. From age 19-21 he was a Mormon Missionary.
Bengt received BFA and MFA degrees in fine art, leaving him straddled with student loans, unqualified for corporate work and overqualified for minimum wage jobs. After a short visual-art "career", Bengt landed on the road as a full-time stand-up comedian in 1997.
Always fresh, an evening with Bengt presents the world as seen through the eyes of a small town guy gone slightly awry. Bengt is unique and universal, achieving the quirky while remaining accessible. Described as "an intellectual with an imp’s perspective", his musings are clever, silly, poignant, pointed, irreverent, philosophical, sophomoric, and hilarious.
Bengt’s comedy was good enough to win the 2001 San Francisco Comedy Competition. Past winners of this prestigious event include the likes of Mr. Robin Williams . . . . yeah, Bengt is THAT funny!

May 29th
30th & 31st its
Marty Pollio!!
Marty Pollio is a seasoned pro who is a multitalented and extremely versatile performer. He incorporates his subtle and intelligent stand-up style along with juggling and physical-comedy into a tightly choreographed, mesmerizing act that has been a favorite of television shows and corporate buyers alike.
Having grown up the son of a racketeer in Louisville Kentucky, one of Marty's high school jobs was delivering the "gifts" to the local cops and judges. When he wasn’t busy being a bagman, he was slowly getting inspired to perform by admiring the work of such artists as Dick Van Dyke and Carlos Santana (if you see his act, you will understand this).
After moving to Los Angeles, Marty amassed credits that include multiple appearances on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, (even one of Johnny’s New Year’s Eve Specials!), as well as being on the show with Jay Leno. Jerry Lewis invited Marty to be on his annual Muscular Dystrophy Telethon, and Penn and Teller had him on their "Sin City Spectacular", taped in Las Vegas (Marty's magic spoof is a favorite among his peers). He has also performed part of this act in the movie “Punchline” with Tom Hanks and Sally Field, and has had recurring parts on many television shows, including Night Court, Empty Nest, and Blossom - you heard me, Blossom.
Because many of his high-energy physical pieces are performed to music, Marty has had the opportunity to perform all over the world, everywhere from USO shows held in tents near the Iraqi border, to European television programs.
Over the years he has appeared in concert with such notables as Ray Charles, Robin Williams and Kenny G.
As a nationally known physical comedian, he has been a special movement consultant for film and television, as well as being chosen to be an instructor for the Tony Award winning company – The National Theater of the Deaf.
Marty is an avid college sports fan, computer geek, and video editor. His hobbies include basketball, chess and filmmaking.
